YouTube API Privacy Policy

When you receive a message containing a YouTube link, Pulse will display a preview of that YouTube video. To generate the preview, this app uses YouTube's API services. As a requirement for using this API, we must inform you that by using this functionality, you are agreeing to Google's privacy policy and YouTube's terms of service.

Pulse neither collects, nor passes, any user data to YouTube. The preview is generated through the video ID associated with the link that you receive. The only information that passes to YouTube is this video ID. No advertisements come from the YouTube API and no information is shared with third parties.

This section has been added to our privacy policy to conform to YouTube's requirements. If you do not wish to agree to portion of the policy, disabling the option to "Use Internal Web Browser" from Pulse's settings menu will disable the link preview engine. When this engine is disabled, the app will absolutely never access YouTube's API services.

Your Consent

By using our service, you consent to this privacy policy.
